Minnesota Red Fox den in the spring season.  They have their litters between March and May; with litters generally consisting of four to nine pups. 

The Red Fox likes to locate their dens close to suburban populations.  This is a way to stay away from the coyotes and to ensure that an ample food supply will be available to them.  Many Minnesota Red Fox dens are located within 100 yards of a homestead.

Red Fox dens and young can be humanely moved off your property. Weather they den under your garage, home or outbuilding foxes can be moved safely.
